After completing my PhD on "Construal level theory and economic decision making: Psychological distance as a de-biasing tool" in 2014, I worked on a three-year research project on social comparison and antecedents/consequents of personal relative deprivation. Since I joined the SoKo lab in 2017, my research interests shifted towards more basic social cognition, investigating immediate and extended self-representations and its consequences in decision making. Overall, I have various research interests ranging from basic underlying mechanisms to its affective and cognitive consequences in decision making situations.
