I am a licensed clinical and health psychologist and have been conducting research in the field of traffic psychology since 2013. My research is characterized by the application of social science research methods and innovative approaches such as eye tracking and virtual reality in numerous research and evaluation projects. The practical relevance of my research results in traffic psychology is reflected in sustainable solutions to promote road safety and mobility for various population groups - especially the road safety of children, young people and older adults - as part of traffic education measures and training programs. At the Johanniter Research and Innovation Center, I work on national and international projects focusing on social issues, health and care as well as safety and disaster prevention. The aim of my research is to develop and implement innovative solutions and new quality standards in order to optimize the quality of care and safety in these areas.
