DIAMOND - Providing a Digital and Modular ecosystem for personalized capabilities Development to enhance labour market participation and employment transition ​

The innovative project aims to increase labor market participation and economic resilience by addressing growing skills gaps through empowering self-directed development. DIAMOND addresses the challenges of rapid digitalization and green transitions. The project takes a human-centered, personalized approach to help individuals prepare for new employment demands. It focuses in particular on individuals from vulnerable socio-economic backgrounds.

As an initial step in the project, we developed a measurement instrument designed to assess DIAMOND empowerment capabilities as one part of the overall EGROW index. The current working version of the Comprehensive Career Empowerment Index (CCE) captures psychological resources and abilities that enable individuals to take control of their career-related growth and actions to enhance their success in the labor market. This index assesses career empowerment as a multidimensional construct. It goes beyond traditional measures of career satisfaction. Measured subdimensions include career identity, career development, career clarity, career exploration, career confidence, career confidence, career adaptability, career-related self-control, and resilience to career stress. The current working version of the CCE is presented below.
